The boiler room's colour, fired into a cup. Small batch, every batch.
A 260-millilitre cup in a deep verdigris that we mix in twelve-kilo batches and never quite reproduce — each kiln load drifts a shade, and we number them for it. It is the one place the machine's palette crosses over to the quiet side of the shop.
